This Erasmus+ Project, also named W.R.I.T.E, has been conceived with the objective to treat bleeding caused by early school leaving, by intervening on a learning which is more consistent with youth and labour market needs and expectations, in order to promote growth and employment and ease youth social inclusion.
The project starts from a “research-action” through some interviews submitted to youth of age between 12 and 18, which can give directions for the undertaking of “learning enhancement” activities. These would contribute, on one hand, to the increase of either soft or professional skills, and, on the other hand, to facilitate the entry into the labour market.
The project aims to remove all possible obstacles and negative factors and promote a series of training activities that enable and facilitate job placement such as entrepreneurship among young people. Creativity, knowledge, skills and competence are the key to determine competitiveness, and create a “smart” growth, sustainable and inclusive growth. The transnational importance of this project aims to:
1) face the phenomena of education dropout andsocial exclusion by giving them a priority value in the social debate;
2) recognize the fundamentalrole that the Young play in smart, sustainable and inclusive growth necessary for Europe futureprosperity;
3)strengthen, integrate and improve the quality of education-training, learningoutcomes and facilitate the recognition of skills acquired through the use of innovative methods,such as gamification;
4)promote, enhance and strengthen cooperation efforts between thedifferent target groups involved in the area of educational mobility, data from testing of teachingmaterials easily accessible through innovative forms of virtual communication.
